Ingredients
  

  • 6 tea bags
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 8 cups water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large pot. Remove from heat and add 6 tea bags. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and add 1 cup of sugar to the pot. Stir until the sugar dissolves.
  • Add 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese to the pot and stir until the cheese melts.
  • Add 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pot and stir until well combined.
  • Let the mixture cool down to room temperature.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
  • Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves (optional).
