Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks.
  • Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook for a few minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
  • Add the diced potatoes to the skillet and stir to combine with the beef and onion.
  • Add the chili powder, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet and stir to coat the beef and potatoes with the spices.
  • Cover the skillet and let the mixture cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender.
  • Serve the Texas Hash hot, garnished with a dollop of sour cream and some chopped fresh herbs if desired.
