Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound fresh Striped Bass
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • ¼ cup diced onions (optional)
  • ¼ cup diced peppers (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Old Bay seasoning, and optional onions and peppers.
  • Add the fresh Striped Bass to the bowl and mix until everything is well combined.
  • Use your hands to form the mixture into small patties.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil.
  • Add the Striper Cakes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
  • Once both sides are cooked, transfer the Striper Cakes to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes.
