Striper Cakes
Delicious and flavorful seafood cakes made with fresh Striped Bass, breadcrumbs, and seasonings.
Equipment
- large bowl
- skillet
- Baking sheet

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh Striped Bass
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
- ¼ cup diced onions (optional)
- ¼ cup diced peppers (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, Old Bay seasoning, and optional onions and peppers.
- Add the fresh Striped Bass to the bowl and mix until everything is well combined.
- Use your hands to form the mixture into small patties.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of oil.
- Add the Striper Cakes to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.
- Once both sides are cooked, transfer the Striper Cakes to a baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes.
