Octavia Taco Salad Recipe
This delicious and healthy salad features protein-packed ground beef, fresh veggies, and a tangy lime dressing topped with crispy tortilla strips.
Equipment
- Large skillet
- Mixing bowl
- Cutting board
- Chef's knife

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet of taco seasoning
- 1 head of lettuce, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1 avocado, diced
- ½ red onion, diced
- 1 lime, juiced
- ½ cup of crispy tortilla strips
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat.
- Add the taco seasoning and stir until well combined. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, avocado, and red onion.
- Squeeze the lime juice over the veggies and toss to coat.
- Divide the lettuce mixture onto four plates.
- Top each plate with a portion of the ground beef mixture.
- Sprinkle crispy tortilla strips on top of each salad.
- Serve and enjoy!
