Miller And Paine Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
Delicious, homemade cinnamon rolls that are soft, fluffy, and bursting with cinnamon flavor.
Equipment
- Large mixing bowl
- Rolling Pin
- Baking dish
- Oven
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ oz active dry yeast
- 1 cup milk
- ¼ cup butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- In a separate bowl, heat the milk and butter until the butter is melted. Let the mixture cool until it's warm to the touch.
- Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for 5-10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it with a clean towel. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Roll out the dough into a large rectangle.
- Spread butter over the dough, then sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough up tightly and cut into 12 even slices.
- Place the rolls in a greased baking dish and let them rise for 20 minutes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.

Recipe Notes:
- Use fresh yeast for the best results.
- Let the dough rise in a warm place, free from drafts.
- For a more pronounced cinnamon flavor, increase the amount of cinnamon in the filling.
- Make sure to use softened butter for the filling, as it’s easier to spread.
- For an extra decadent cinnamon roll, try adding chopped pecans or raisins to the filling.
- These cinnamon rolls are best served warm, straight out of the oven. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
