Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Glass jar with a lid
  • Cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 4-6 fresh lemons
  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 cups water

Instructions
 

  • Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice, removing any seeds.
  • In a large pot, heat the water over medium heat and slowly stir in the honey until it is fully dissolved.
  • Add the lemon juice to the pot and stir well.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  • Transfer the mixture to a glass jar with a lid and let it ferment for 2-3 days.
  • After 2-3 days, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer to remove any pulp or sediment.
  • Transfer the liquid to a clean glass jar with a lid and store it in the fridge until ready to serve.
