Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch (23 cm) baking pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the flour and cinnamon together. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing well until the batter is smooth. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • Pour the batter into the greased baking pan and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before serving.
