Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 2 tbsp  butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Special sauce (recipe below)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp  yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp pickle relish
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your grill or stovetop to medium-high heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Divide the beef mixture into four equal parts and shape them into patties.
  • Brush the patties with melted butter on both sides.
  • Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  • Add a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of grilling.
  • Toast the buns on the grill or stovetop.
  • Spread special sauce on the bottom bun, then add lettuce, tomato, and the beef patty with cheese
  • Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
