Juicy and Flavorful Jesse Kelly Burger
This delicious burger is a juicy and flavorful tribute to a beloved family member, perfect for summer cookouts and gatherings.
Equipment
- Grill or stovetop
- Mixing bowl
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Special sauce (recipe below)
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or stovetop to medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Divide the beef mixture into four equal parts and shape them into patties.
- Brush the patties with melted butter on both sides.
- Grill the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- Add a slice of cheese to each patty during the last minute of grilling.
- Toast the buns on the grill or stovetop.
- Spread special sauce on the bottom bun, then add lettuce, tomato, and the beef patty with cheese
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
