Jeff Ruby Steak Seasoning Recipe

Equipment
- small bowl
- Grill
- or skillet
Ingredients
- ¼ kosher salt
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 2 tbsp finely ground coffee
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 4 ribeye or New York strip steaks
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients and mix well.
- Rub the seasoning generously onto both sides of your steak.
- Cover the steak and let it sit in the fridge for at least an hour to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat.
- Preheat your grill or skillet to high heat.
- Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
- Let the steak rest for a few minutes before serving.
