Horchata Herbalife Recipe
A refreshing and healthy drink made with rice, milk, and Herbalife protein powder.
Equipment
- Blender
- large bowl
- Fine-Mesh Sieve
Ingredients
- 1 cup white rice
- 4 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 scoops Herbalife Vanilla Protein Powder
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Ground cinnamon for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse the rice and place it in a large bowl. Add 2 cups of water and the cinnamon stick. Cover and let soak for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- After the rice has soaked, pour the rice and water mixture into a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth.
- Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large bowl, pressing the rice to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the rice solids.
- Stir in the Herbalife protein powder, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Chill the mixture in the fridge until cold.
- Serve over ice and garnish with ground cinnamon.
