  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • Pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Assorted toppings (chopped nuts, crispy bacon bits, chopped herbs)

Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, grated sharp cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Shape the cheese mixture into a ball using your hands, ensuring it is evenly sized.
  • Roll the cheese ball in your choice of assorted toppings, such as chopped nuts, crispy bacon bits, or chopped herbs. Get creative and mix and match toppings for a visually appealing presentation.
  • Once coated with toppings, wrap the cheese ball tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.
  • Before serving, remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes to soften slightly.
