Freemans Artichoke Dip Recipe
A delicious and easy-to-make dip made with artichoke hearts, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese.
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Spatula
- Baking dish
Ingredients
- 1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and smooth out the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbly.
- Remove the dip from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Recipe Notes:
- If you prefer a chunkier dip, you can leave the artichoke hearts a bit larger.
- For a smoother dip, puree the artichoke hearts in a blender or food processor before adding them to the mixture.
- Be careful not to overmix the ingredients as this can cause the dip to become too thin and runny.
- Make sure that the artichoke hearts are well-drained before adding them to the mixture to avoid excess moisture.
- Keep an eye on the dip while it’s baking to prevent it from becoming too brown on top.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
- For a more garlicky flavor, add an extra clove of garlic to the mixture.
- Serve the dip warm with your favorite dippers, such as tortilla chips, pita bread, or sliced vegetables.
