Easy Venison Burger Recipes
These juicy and flavorful venison burgers are easy to make and perfect for grilling. Made with ground venison, onions, garlic, and a few simple seasonings, these burgers are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional beef burgers.
Equipment
- Grill or skillet
- Mixing bowl
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground venison
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Optional: additional spices or herbs, cooked bacon, shredded cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the ground venison, diced onion, minced garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper. Use your hands to mix everything together until it's well combined.
- If you're using any additional spices or herbs, add them to the mixture now.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. If you're using a skillet, add a little bit of oil to the pan to prevent the burgers from sticking.
- Cook the burgers for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they're cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Serve the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.
