Ingredients
  

  • 1 prepared pie crust
  • 4 duck eggs
  • 1 cup milk or cream
  • 1 cup grated cheese (such as Gruyere or Swiss)
  • 1 cup diced vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, onions, etc.)
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh herbs (thyme, parsley, chives, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Roll out the prepared pie crust and gently press it into a pie dish, trimming any excess dough.
  •  In a mixing bowl, whisk together the duck eggs and milk or cream until well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Sprinkle half of the grated cheese over the pie crust. Add the diced vegetables and chopped herbs on top.
  • Slowly pour the egg and milk mixture over the filling, ensuring even distribution.
  • Sprinkle the remaining grated cheese over the top.
  • Place the quiche in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  • Remove the quiche from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
