Dragone Ricotta Cheese Lasagna
A delicious and comforting lasagna recipe made with Dragone ricotta cheese and ground beef.
Equipment
- 9×13 inch baking dish

Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 container Dragone ricotta cheese (15 oz)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 jar pasta sauce (24 oz)
- 1 lb ground beef (optional)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions until they are al dente.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic and season with salt and pepper to taste. Drain excess fat.
- Spread a layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange a layer of cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread a layer of Dragone ricotta cheese over the noodles.
- Add a layer of ground beef and another layer of sauce.
- Repeat layers of noodles, ricotta cheese, ground beef, and sauce until all ingredients are used up.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, until the cheese, is melted and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.

- Be sure to not overcook the lasagna noodles, as they will continue to cook in the oven.
- For a vegetarian option, omit the ground beef and add your favorite vegetables, such as spinach or mushrooms.
