Chicken Chipotle Melt
A delicious and easy-to-make sandwich with shredded chicken, chipotle peppers, and melted cheddar cheese.
Equipment
- Baking sheet
- parchment paper
Ingredients
- 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
- 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 slices of bread
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, minced chipotle peppers, mayonnaise, and garlic powder. Stir until the ingredients are well combined.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the two slices of bread on the baking sheet. Top each slice with the chicken mixture, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the chicken mixture.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once the cheese is melted, remove the baking sheet from the oven. Carefully place one slice of bread on top of the other to create a sandwich.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
