Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups of thinly sliced Vidalia onions (or any sweet onion variety)
  • 2 cups of buttery crackers, crushed
  • ½ cup of butter, melted
  • ½ tsp of garlic powder
  • ½ tsp of paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet, sauté the onions in butter until they are soft and caramelized. Season with salt and pepper.
  • In a bowl, mix together the crushed crackers, melted butter, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer half of the onions on the bottom. Spread half of the cracker mixture over the onions. Repeat with the remaining onions and cracker mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
