Brenda Gantt’s Golden Broccoli Casserole
A delicious and easy-to-make broccoli casserole with a golden cheese topping.
Equipment
- Mixing bowl
- Baking dish
- Oven
Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped broccoli (fresh or frozen)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using fresh broccoli, blanch it in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. If using frozen broccoli, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the casserole is golden brown and bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

- Use fresh broccoli for a crispier texture.
